Etienne Cousin joins LifeArc Ventures

LifeArc Ventures, the venture capital arm of LifeArc, today announced that Etienne Cousin has joined its team as an Investment Associate, bringing extensive expertise in both strategy consulting and venture-backed startup operations. Etienne will provide critical input to our expanding team, helping to build the financial models and shape the decisions that drive our investments, at the same time as offering hands-on support to our fast-growing portfolio of ground-breaking life sciences companies.

Etienne commented: “This is a great time to be joining LifeArc Ventures, a UK-based life sciences fund with an increasing international focus. I look forward to contributing to its growing track record of investment in innovative life sciences companies from Seed to Series B, and I’m excited to work alongside entrepreneurial scientists and colleagues who share a commitment to advancing breakthrough innovation for patients.”

Etienne was previously head of strategy & operations at PreComb Therapeutics, a functional precision oncology startup developing patient-derived 3D tumour models for oncology drug discovery and development. Before joining PreComb, Etienne worked as an independent life sciences consultant, supporting startup clients on commercial strategy and fundraising. He started his career at CB Partners and LEK Consulting, delivering strategy and commercial due diligence engagements for pharma, biotech and MedTech clients.

Etienne holds an MSc in Applied Biosciences and Biotechnology from Imperial College London and a BA in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford.
